Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Must have passed Matriculation (10th Pass) or an equivalent examination from a recognized State or Central Government Board as of the last date of online application.

• Must be a citizen of India.

2. Age Limit (As on 01/08/2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age:

  • Unreserved (UR) Male: 37 Years

  • UR Female, BC, EBC (Male & Female): 40 Years

  • SC / ST (Male & Female): 42 Years

• Age Relaxation: As per Bihar Government rules (PwD candidates get 10 years extra; Bihar Govt employees get 5 years relaxation).

• UR / EBC / BC / EWS (Male candidates) & All Other State Candidates: ₹400/-

• SC / ST / PwD (40%+ Disability) & All Women Candidates of Bihar Domicile: ₹100/-

Selection Process

1. Interview: Selection is primarily based on an Interview of 100 marks.

2. Preliminary Exam (If applicable): If the total number of applications exceeds 40,000, an OMR-based preliminary objective test will be conducted prior to the interview.
