The minimum age to apply is 18 years. Age, qualification and category will be reckoned as on the closing date of the online application, i.e., 12.10.2026. Upper age limit is relaxable as per Government of India norms.

All posts also carry service benefits such as Leave, LTC and medical benefits as per Government of India norms applicable to CPRI employees. Probation for all posts is initially for 2 years.

SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen/women candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee. Any bank transaction charges or processing fees for online payment must be borne by the candidate. Applications without the prescribed fee will be summarily rejected.

In the event of a tie in CBT score or valid GATE score, the tie is resolved by placing the older candidate (by date of birth) higher in the merit list. The venue, date and time for the CBT/Trade Test/Skill Test will be intimated through the admit card/call letter.

CPRI Recruitment 2026 Important Instructions
- Only Indian Nationals aged 18 years and above are eligible to apply.
- Candidates can apply for more than one post, but must submit a separate online application, fee and documents for each post.
- Multiple applications for the same post will result in rejection of all such applications.
- Furnishing false, tampered or fabricated information can lead to disqualification at any stage, including after appointment.
- Online applications, once registered, cannot be withdrawn, and the fee once paid is non-refundable except in case of cancellation of the recruitment itself (only the fee is refunded, not other expenses).
- Examination centres are Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Delhi and Kolkata; CPRI reserves the right to allot any centre.
