NRSC Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
- Meeting the minimum qualification does not automatically qualify a candidate for interview - NRSC reserves the right to screen applications and fix additional shortlisting criteria as necessary.
- Screened-in/shortlisted candidates are called for an interview before a Selection Committee; only shortlisted candidates are contacted, and call letters are sent by email only.
- The list of shortlisted candidates is placed on the NRSC website.
- Documents uploaded during application are verified at the time of interview; mere admission to the interview does not guarantee selection.
Tenure of NRSC Recruitment 2026 Positions
All positions are purely temporary, for a period of one year (subject to the project's validity), extendable further based on performance in periodic review or co-terminus with the project - up to a maximum of five years for JRF and Research Scientist posts. Positions approved for a specific project cannot be adjusted against any other project. Selected candidates have no claim or right to regular appointment in NRSC/ISRO/Department of Space, and NRSC reserves the right to terminate services at any time without notice or reason.
